This unusual necklace has been printed on a 3d printer using a plant based poylmer called PLA. This particular polymer has wood fibres in it so the printed piece looks and feels like wood.
 
The pendant shape is that of the Adrenaline molecule, a hormone that is released by the adrenal glands and the medula oblongata. Its main job is to regulate visceral functions like respiration. It is also used a medication to treat anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest and bleeding.
