This unusual necklace been printed on a 3d printer using a plant based poylmer called PLA. This particular polymer has wood fibres in it so the printed piece looks and feels like wood.
 
The shape is that of the Psillocybin molecule. Psillocybin is a naturally occuring compound found in many species of fungi. Often used as a psycadellic drug it causes hallucinations, euphoria and out of body experiences. It was once used to treat sever mental health conditions as it re-activates naurons in the brain and has a profound effect on the way the brain transmits signals.
 
The necklace comes on a silver plated chain with lobster clasp.
